The construction of traditional Greek stringed instruments is a fine art carried out by few these days. Vassilis Lazarides is one of those select few. This photograph shows a part of the construction of baglama, the smallest of a family of three instruments.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
