what to say that hasn't already been said, excellent choice of subject and impeccable framing, the black silhouetted against the blue is striking, and the fire of the reflected sunset, well it puts this photo on the border of extraordinary...

Such an awesome shot! I love the intense blue of the sky and the shape of the lamp light against it. The elegant curve of the lamp post is awesome, my eyes follow it around and then settle on the glass part. The fact that you captured the ocean in it, and it's got a golden flame like quality is just magnificent! A wonderful idea, and I love how it turned out! Beautiful shot! :D

Thank you :)
I was there, taking some shots of the port and the people and the sunset (you know, usual boring shots) when I thought I should do something with the beautiful lamps. So I went around and around studying them from all angles when I saw the reflection of the sea. Since it was sunset time, I was delighted to see the beautiful colors and I composed my frame and took the shot. I'm glad you like it :)

I love it! Great shot! :+fav:

How do you like your lens? (I came to this from ~DRebels)

Any advice for someone looking for their first telephoto zoom lens?

Thank you for your kind words!

The lens is perfection! If you can afford it, there's nothing better in it's category and cost.
